Princess Ruhanika stood at the balcony of her royal chambers, gazing out over the kingdom of Suryagarh. The sun dipped below the horizon, casting a golden hue over the land. Her heart, however, felt heavy with dread.
The grand hall was adorned with opulent tapestries and fragrant flowers, a stark contrast to the turmoil brewing within her. Today was supposed to be the happiest day of her life—the day she would marry Prince Veer Pratap of Janakgarh. But fate had other plans.
The distant sound of war drums echoed through the palace, signaling the arrival of an unexpected guest. Rudra Singh Rathore, the feared warlord of Suryagarh, had arrived unannounced. His reputation as a ruthless conqueror preceded him, and his presence sent a chill down Ruhanika's spine.
As the doors to the hall swung open, Rudra entered, his imposing figure casting a long shadow. His eyes locked onto Ruhanika’s, and a smirk played at the corners of his lips.
"From today onwards, I am your Rana Sa, Rajkumari," he declared, his voice low and commanding. "Your family didn't even try to save you. They agreed so easily to give you as a prize in this war."
Ruhanika’s breath caught in her throat.
"You can never become my Arya," she whispered, her voice trembling. "My family agreed because you threatened them."
Rudra’s smirk deepened.
"You’re right. You are definitely going to marry today," he said, pulling her toward him with a force that left her breathless. "But to the Prince of Suryagarh."
Ruhanika struggled against his grip, her mind racing. She had dreamed of marrying Prince Veer, of uniting their kingdoms in peace and prosperity. But now, those dreams lay shattered at her feet.
As Rudra led her to the altar, Ruhanika’s heart pounded in her chest. The holy fire flickered before them, its flames casting an eerie glow over the proceedings. Her body trembled, not from the cold, but from the overwhelming sense of helplessness.
"I will protect you from all the evil things, Rajkumari," Rudra murmured, his voice soft yet filled with an unsettling promise. "You are mine now."
Tears welled in Ruhanika’s eyes as she realized the magnitude of her situation. She was no longer a princess with dreams of love and freedom. She was a pawn in a game of power and conquest.
As the fire blazed before them, Ruhanika’s fate was sealed. The woman who had once been a symbol of grace and strength was now bound to a man whose name struck fear into the hearts of all who heard it.
